Aaron has spent his career in the tourism and events industry. From designing and delivering public programming at the largest maritime museum in Canada to managing shore based operations for Nova Scotia Tall Ships Festival 2009 he has had a wealth of experience in content development and event management.
Aaron got his first taste of program development and delivery while working as a Heritage Interpreter at the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic in Halifax, eventually becoming the museum’s Facility Coordinator he managed all of the on-site events at the museum including television tapings and high-profile international visits. Upon leaving the museum Aaron joined Heritage Explorers and expanded his program development and event management resume to include the creation and management of the Bluenose Ghosts Festival. Aaron’s event and project management skills, combined with his creative abilities have made him a valuable member of the S|E|A team. While at S|E|A Aaron has designed and executed multiple signature events including the Atlantic Sponsorship Forum, Rogers StreetJam and Support4Sport Canada Games Legacy Fund 50/50 Program during the 2011 Halifax Canada Winter Games.
Aaron holds a BA in History and Political Science from Dalhousie University and sat on the board of Meeting Professionals International Atlantic Canada Chapter as the Vice President of Membership.
