Scotiabank CFL Touchdown Atlantic

Halifax, Nova Scotia, March 27, 2011 – Halifax based Sports & Entertainment Atlantic was named today as the exclusive outbound ticket sales agent for Scotiabank Touchdown Atlantic featuring the Calgary Stampeders versus the Hamilton Tiger-Cats on September 25th at Stade Moncton Stadium on the campus of the Université de Moncton.

After successfully providing bus transportation and VIP ticket packages to over 2,000 Maritimers for the inaugural regular season CFL game in Moncton in 2010, S|E|A was once again selected to offer convenient and cost effective ticket packages for CFL fans from Halifax, Charlottetown, Fredericton and Saint John to experience the excitement of CFL football.

“We at the CFL see Scotiabank Touchdown Atlantic as a special event that belongs to all of Atlantic Canada, so we’re pleased to partner with Sports & Entertainment Atlantic to make it easy and convenient for more of our fans to join in the fun,” said Rob Assimakopoulos, chief marketing officer of the Canadian Football League.

Packages will include return bus transportation, general admission or reserved grandstand tickets as well as food and beverages onboard!

“We are thrilled to once again work with the CFL and Maritime football fans,” stated S|E|A President Derek Martin. “Our turn-key bus packages allow fans to enjoy the game without worrying about who will drive or where to stay.”

S|E|A will also work with Football Nova Scotia, Football New Brunswick and Football PEI to raise funds for the development of football in our region through the sale of special end zone tickets. The CFL will donate $5 to each provincial football organization for each ticket they sell.
